This results in a bit of soul searching, a smidgeon of philosophising, and a dash of ponderings on the writing process. Her daughter Janey has moved with husband Jon to Edinburgh. Her next door neighbours have put their flat on the market. And Helen has discovered that she is not fully recovered from the accident, when her head came into close and sudden contact with the pavement.
