This is in respect to Reza Barati, the young Iranian who fled persecution in his own country, only to find it at the hands of Australian government representatives on Manus Island. Lyrics: Australians all, let's not rejoice We're neither young nor free Our golden soil and wealth are all Stained with shame and misery Our land abounds with nature's gifts that We're afraid to share When Reza died, and our governments lied We lost Australia Fair. Let history's page record our rage For the loss of Australia fair. Flloyd Kennedy (www.being-in-voice.com) explains why we sometimes feel silly, or goofy when we work on our voices, making unusual sounds, and how it is the actor's job to deal with this comfortably and effectively through training.

Yu Lin's first voice lesson: developing self awareness; sounding vibrations through the whole body from the centre (humming), opening out into a "Mah", enjoying both sounding and silence, retaining energy, engagement throughout. Applying the principles of this exercise to a short piece of text.
