Episode 10. Helen's elder sister, Marian, has dementia, but she still manages to phone up from Rockhampton in Australia for a chat. Helen has a problem with the memoir she was commissioned to write, but which she really doesn't want to have published, although she can't explain why. And Harry next door struggles to accept that he's too frail to climb ladders any more. Ah me, as the poet George Melling says "Don't get old. It puts years on you!"
If you are enjoying these little vignettes, peeks into the life of an elderly woman and her family and friends as they try to get by in a challenging world, please take a moment to rate it, and review it, in your podcasting app. Or by leaving a few words on the website https://amIoldyet.com/reviews. It would help enormously by encourage more folk to listen, boost my stats and possibly even lead to some donations to help cover the costs of producing it.
